Over $6,000 donated to local charities and families in need and counting!

Fundraising update

Posted by Katie Egloff on

I have stated in a previous blog post how this business is truly a happy accident.  My first fundraiser started humbly in December with a quickly designed bracelet and a quick picture that took off quickly.  Dani Grace Designs was featured on KWWL channel 7 on a story about Jade and was also mentioned in our local Parkersburg newspaper The Eclipse.

Since my first initial fundraiser I am happy to report I am now involved in FIVE fundraisers! These are all ongoing and as of publication Dani Grace designs has donated close to $3,000 to local organizations or individuals in their time of need. All of these bracelets are still for sale and can be purchased by clicking on the following link https://www.danigracedesigns.com/collections/bracelets-for-a-cause

Here is a list of the current fundraisers

#weareAP raising money for the Aplington-Parkersburg Dance Team

Suicide Awareness- raising money for the Remembering Logan foundation Parkersburg Iowa

Rainbows for Maggie- A sweet little girl Maggie has recently been diagnosed with a genetic disorder called MLD. This causes changes starting with weak muscles, leading to spastic muscles, body temperature control issues, and loss of ability to speak, among others.

Head and Neck Cancer Awareness- Raising money for Jerry O’Brien the high school AG and Shop/Industrial Arts teacher and FFA Advisor at Central of Elkader in Elkader, IA undergoing treatment for cancer.

#withjade- raising money for the family of Jade DeLucia who came down with influenza B Christmas Day 2019 which left her in a coma for 9 days.  Jade was feared to not survive this awful manifestation of the flu but as of publication of this post, is well on her way to making a full recovery.

When initially creating my website it asked me for a motto or a tagline for my business and it honestly took me a little while to come up with one.  That is until the #withjade fundraiser.
